Leadership Oportunities
This year we will be launching some initiatives to continue our growth
as educators and as a school. Â For those of you looking to take on a
leadership role at the school I will be looking for a co-facilitator for
some of these initiatives. Below are the initiatives that will have a
co-facilitator if anyone is interested. Â We are still going to have our ILT
(Leadership Team) that will be the driving force for leading the charge for
school improvement. Â There will be 5 open spots (since it is an application
process each year) for those also interested in being part of the ILT.

feedback to detail what focused and rigorous learning, ownership, continuous
improvement, Â urgency to maximize instruction, and support looks and sounds
like.

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer.   I have been here about three days a week but am ready to take off to New Jersey for the next six days. I wanted to send out a few updates before I leave Hill-Roberts for the week.
1. The school hours will stay the same (as this year) for the 2008-09 school year.
Elementary (Late Session)
Thacher, Hill Roberts, Hyman Fine*      9:00 a.m. - 3:20 p.m.  Â
Kindergarten (a.m.)     9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  Kindergarten (p.m.)     12:50 p.m. – 3:20 p.m.
*Full-day Kindergarten through Grade 4
