6252009_100624_0.jpgHelp write our first Hill-Roberts Book:
The Adventures of Hunter the Husky
This exciting summer project began in Art class when each student designed their own Husky.  Now it is time to let Hunter explore our world with the help of each student and family.
Our goal is for students to enjoy positive writing experiences over the summer.  Students are encouraged to take Hunter on summer outings, write about their adventures, and email their contributions to Mr. Joseph.  Mr. Joseph will create a running journal of Hunter’s adventures on the school website for everyone to enjoy.  At the end of the summer a book compiling Hunter’s adventures will be created for our library.
Students will not only be practicing their writing skills but can learn about geography, develop map skills, calculate how far Hunter has traveled, and most importantly be creative and have fun!

In August we went to Santa's Village and to visit our friends Jack (gr. 3) and Adam (gr. 1) in New Hampshire.  We stayed at their house, rode on their awesome boat, swam in the lake, and also did go-karts and bumper boats.  Hunter loved the bumper boats and he got soaked!  When we got off the ride, he fell into the water.  Luckily he is a good swimmer!  For a week in August we also went to a rock climbing camp in Lincoln, RI.  Hunter loved climbing!  He was a little scared.  But when he got up the wall, he felt proud!  He climbed some of the hardest walls
