Welcome to Mrs. Cragan's Class!

I hope everyone had a great summer and I look forward to hearing all about your adventures with Hunter the Husky!  The classroom is just about all set now all I need is YOU to make it complete!

I have written a list of supplies below that would be useful to have in the classroom.  I already have enough supplies for everyone to start off the year with, but it is amazing how quickly they disappear!  Although I know many of you enjoy using pencil boxes, the tables are small, and I like to use a community bucket in the middle of the table with all the necessary supplies, so it would be great if you could keep the pencil boxes at home!  Please check back weekly/monthly for updates.

2010-2011 Supply List
Elmer's Glue Sticks
tissues
Dry Erase Markers
old sock (for erasing white boards)
highlighters
crayons

Everyday Math Routine
You can practice the following things to help your chld be successful during calendar time: reading a thermometer (only to the nearest 10), reciting the days of the week/months of the year, discussing the weather for the day and the season, practicing tally marks, and counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s. Thanks for all your help, both your child and I appreciate it!
